I did it. I completed my first half marathon. Ahhhhh, feels amazing! I got my 13.1 decal- and am looking forward to adding a 26.2 decal next!
Now on to the gritty...
Can I just say, I did not think it was possible to run UPHILL for 13.1 miles?!! Well, it is! And in humid 85* weather! We ran past a few farms, so all those farmy smells (hay, manure, animal, etc) were just pleasant- said no one running the half..
But! I'm happy I did it. I'm proud I did it :)
